Bean...back in the day - early
1970's I picked beans in the beanfields around Eugene, OR 2 1/2 cents a pound and saved my money for school clothes...

I make hot pickled green beans also. They are such a hit with my group that siblings will actually try to sneak jars without the others knowing...You do a very nice job of packing the beans in they look great!

Your green beans looked so good in the first few pictures, so I was craving some fresh green beans, and then I saw the spicy pickled beans, and now you got me craving some pickled beans. Plus you have an incredible view from your garden! So now I'm craving green beans of all sorts AND lusting after your awesome view. :-)

Those are lovely photos, especially the last panoramic view. And I like how the chicklets are hanging out under the corn--no doubt they are waiting for it to ripen as well as you!

Hot pickled beans??? Did I miss a recipe?

Gorgeous view you have. I'll be in the back with a glass of wine if you need me. Send Tilly over.

Heather, I want to come live with you! What a view. I'm raking in the beans now, too, and will be pickling soon- right now I'm getting some in the freezer and eating them- Brian grilled some last night with garlic and olive oil- yuuum. :-) I love visiting you through the Garden Party!
