I want to be organized...

and that should count for something! (shouldn't it?)

Have nothing in your house that you do not know to be useful, or believe to be beautiful...  William Morris

Yes sir, Mr. Morris!  I am with you all the way... in my heart and mind if not my kitchen, or family room, or office, or... I think you get the picture.

Maybe a book would help?  One that I can read and that will keep me on the organizing track...

Like this...

Or this...

Or any of these...

Then my dining room table would never look like this...

and my den/office would never, ever look like this...

and there is positively, absolutely NO WAY my laundry room would ever look like this...
Hmmmm...

Maybe if I signed up at flylady.com... huh?  I did sign up?  Last year?  Oops...

I am now going to crawl back into bed and pull the covers over my head...

How do you do it?

Love your post!
I was watching a segment on Dr. Oz today on a hoarder (she called herself a collector!) and I had to say I saw myself a wee bit.
Ugh!

doesn't simply owning those books cause ones house to be magically organized?

honestly, i'm a clean freak. i think your either wired one way or the other. i often envy the other.

HA! I only WISH my house looked that "disorganized"! Look at it this way, at least you can still tell which room is meant for which purpose... Good luck (to all of us)!

Ha, ha, ha! I do it one DAY at a time, one SEASON at a time. Covey's book - '7 Habits of Highly Successful People' have helped me a lot. I want to be highly successful at this.

I really like this post. The books are great, I have them and read them over and over.

Just know - you are in good company!!
